The Word of the Cross is an command from God to believe in Jesus' and His sacrificial death for your Sins.

The whole of mankind from the beginning has been separated from fellowship with God our creator because of sin. Sin separates between God and man, between that which is holy and that which is unholy. What has happened throughout History is The LORD's plan of reconciliation between God and man when a man is reconciled to GOD they are saved! They are born again. The fellowship is restored and there is now peace with GOD. Today where you sit if you have not been saved, you have no peace with GOD. You have not come back to Him, or turned your face/heart/will toward Him. If you want to be friends again with someone whom you have offended what do you do? You go to them and say you are sorry! you repent of your sin and say I am sorry for what I have done.

The cross is where we see that God is not going to turn you away if you come to Him He has opened a door of forgiveness to you at the Cross. Will you stop being proud and admit you have sinned? The hardest thing for a sinner to do is admit they are wrong and God is right, this takes a broken spirit and a humble heart. Can't you see the Cross is how you have treated God and He still wants to forgive you. Go to Him now, seconds from now you may forget His love for you and never be saved it is not foolishness but the power of God unto salvation, The Cross.....
